When operating the thread‑rolling machine, each shift must inspect and clean the equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure it remains tidy, clean, well‑lubricated, and safe.
(1) Keep the machine tool’s exterior neat, clean, and free of yellowing, oil grime, and rust. Ensure that all machine tool components and major accessories are intact and clean.
(ii) Keep the machine tool’s work area and foot pedals clean and tidy. Ensure that all guideway surfaces and sliding surfaces are kept clean and properly lubricated; inspect these surfaces, as well as the table and sliding surfaces, for any signs of damage. (iii) Maintain adequate oil levels in all parts of the lubrication system, ensure unobstructed oil flow, keep oil level indicators (windows) clearly visible, and keep lubrication tools clean and complete. Inspect all oil reservoirs, lubrication points, and pipelines (including those of the cooling system) for leaks.
(4) Ensure that electrical equipment, limit switches, and interlocking devices are safe and reliable.
4. Perform equipment maintenance promptly in accordance with regulations and maintain proper records. Complete the machine-hour log on a monthly basis as scheduled.
(5) Unauthorized modification or fabrication of equipment (including components and accessories) is prohibited.
(7) Before starting work, check that all rotating parts of the machine tool are in proper condition, that protective devices are intact, and that there are no foreign objects on the working surface; also, lubricate all lubrication points. Only proceed with operation after confirming that everything is in order.
(8) The threading roller must be securely mounted; adjustments and replacements must be performed with the machine stopped. While the machine is running, do not reach into the bed to adjust workpieces or touch the machine tool.
(8) When setting the tool, do not tighten or loosen any screws while the machine is running; after making adjustments, tighten the nuts before commencing operation.
(10) The operator must remain fully focused and keep their hands clear of the threading roller during operation to prevent hand injuries.

In modern enterprises, the utilization rates of various types of equipment are already very high, and the widespread adoption of machinery has also increased operational costs. After all, mechanical equipment is inherently prone to malfunctions. Below, we will focus on thread‑rolling machines and discuss strategies for minimizing such failures.
A Brief Discussion on the Adjustment and Operating Procedures of Thread Rolling Machines
The support block is mounted on the support base, with its top welded using cemented carbide. Loosen the fastening bolts of the support block, adjust its height by adding or removing shims beneath the block, and then tighten the bolts.
The working principle of a thread-rolling machine
A thread-rolling machine is a versatile cold-extrusion forming machine tool. Within its specified rolling force range, it can perform thread rolling, straight‑thread rolling, and helical‑thread rolling on workpieces in the cold state; it can also roll straight gears, helical gears, and helical spline gears; additionally, it can carry out straightening, diameter reduction, burnishing, and various forming‑roll operations.
