Product Introduction
It is suitable for cold‑state roll forming of straight, threaded, and helical threads with diameters ranging from φ4 to φ36 mm. By equipping it with a helical thread‑rolling wheel, it can also machine set screws and through‑threads (threaded rods). The machine is fabricated by welding steel plates, featuring a rational structure, simple operation, and reliable performance, making it an ideal solution for producing non‑standard threads and standard fasteners such as bolts.
An automatic feeding device can be equipped according to user requirements.
A hydraulic thread‑rolling machine is a versatile cold‑extrusion forming machine tool. Within its specified rolling pressure range, it can perform thread‑rolling operations—producing straight or helical threads—on cold‑state workpieces. This advanced non‑cutting process effectively enhances both the internal and surface quality of the workpiece; the radial compressive stresses generated during machining significantly improve its fatigue strength and torsional strength, making it an ideal, energy‑efficient, low‑consumption hydraulic thread‑rolling process.
1. Adjust the lead and the distances between the three axes so that the three thread‑rolling dies form an approximately equilateral triangle relative to the workpiece. Then, engage the hydraulic manual gear and adjust the cylinder nut to press against the stopper, ensuring that when the guide rail’s thread‑rolling die advances, it just makes contact with the workpiece.
II. Line Alignment
1. Half-threaded rolling
(1) Paint the thread-rolling section; use a colored marker on the hydraulic thread-rolling machine, and manually position it between the three die wheels. Then, operate the foot switch to push the movable guide rail’s die wheel upward, thereby compressing the workpiece.
(2) Manually rotate the pulley until the three die wheels on the workpiece align to form a complete circular imprint, then verify that the three imprints are properly connected. If not, use any one of the three die wheels on the hydraulic thread‑rolling machine as a reference and loosen it. Rotate the coupling at the rear of the other two die wheels connected to the gearbox by turning the dial, and repeat this process until the three imprints join to create a threaded mark.
(3) After the threads have been properly formed, switch on the hydraulic thread‑rolling machine’s main power supply and the cooling pump, load the workpiece, and adjust the cylinder stroke during rolling. If the first pass does not achieve the required thread depth, make several adjustments to the cylinder until the thread profile meets the relevant standards and specifications. Special attention should be paid to ensuring that the hydraulic pump pressure remains within the range of 35 kg/cm², to prevent excessive pressure from damaging the die.
(4) Automatic rolling: After the standard thread is formed, activate the hydraulic automatic gear; the time relay of the hydraulic thread‑rolling machine can be adjusted to suit your needs, and the automatic return‑roll time is infinitely adjustable, ensuring rapid rolling.
2. Full-thread rolling
(1) Loosen the two set screws on each of the three bearing housings, gently tilt the unit to an appropriate angle, adjust the hydraulic thread‑rolling machine’s lead angle to a position close to that of the rolled thread, and then tighten the bearing housing set screws at the top.
(2) The forming and rolling steps are the same as those for half-tooth rolling.
